Collaboration, problem solving, and creating new ideas through coding is something our children are doing in their STEM classes. This is something you can do at home with your children as well by visiting https://hourofcode.com/us/learn These third graders are all smiles as they use code to remix music tracks in the music lab. More opportunities to come. See you on Monday, January 6th!

Mrs. Bush's STEM students at Linden Elementary participated in Hour of Code, which is a worldwide movement that aims to introduce students to computer science through coding skills. Our youngest students did an unplugged activity with Coding Mice while 1st-3rd graders explored online activities that had them coding and remixing music, problem solving with Minecraft, and learning the fundamentals of CS with Kodable.
